Ancient Romans left western civilization legacies of law and architectural order. But, as heirs to the legacy of the ancient Greek art of architecture, the Romans also elevated classic architecture to the fine art of engineering.  The classic design of The Smith Building, an early twentieth century Neo Classical-influenced work of architecture designed by William J.
